A Real Local Member
I am a born and bred local of Chatsworth and am proud to have represented it now for more than five years. Starting my schooling at Carina State School and playing different sports at the Clem Jones Centre, I have seen this great electorate grow over several decades.
I understand what it is like to be a local resident and to be involved in the local community, which is why I am so passionate about ensuring we get what we need.
An Active Community Member
One of the things I enjoy most about being your local MP is being involved in the community. I thoroughly enjoy visiting local sporting clubs, community groups and our great State Schools to see what they are doing and to help wherever I can.
I believe it is simply not enough to be aware, you need to be active! I have delivered more than $3 million in funding for our local groups to ensure they can continue to provide much needed services and activities for our great local community.
Since becoming your LNP Member for Chatsworth I have set about delivering for this great electorate. I have thrown my support behind our local clubs and groups to ensure they get the funding they need, I have seen an overdue Park’n’Ride at Carindale delivered and I have fought to ensure many of our great schools have Flashing School Lights.
While I am proud of what has been achieved, there is still more to be done and I look forward to continuing to deliver for Chatsworth.
Listening to Locals
To serve your community you need to listen and remain active. This is why I regularly hold Chatsworth Community Corners, visit school P&C meetings and invite constituents to contact me with any concerns they have.
What I consistently hear through these meetings is that locals are concerned about the State Labor Government increasing the cost of living and doing nothing to create new jobs. A Liberal National Party Government will tackle these issues, and I will continue to bring your concerns to the forefront of the discussion.
