Local Family

My wife and I are long-term locals and we wouldn’t live anywhere else. I’m a very proud father and grandfather, having been blessed with three children and a beautiful granddaughter.

The Burnett region has been the perfect place to raise our family, and I’m proud that my kids were educated locally. While my kids have left the nest to chase their dreams, my two sons remain in the region working in the construction industry. Nothing is more important to me than my family.

Working for Burnett

While we have achieved a lot together, I remain committed to our region and delivering more for our community.

My priority is to continue delivering real outcomes for the Burnett. We need to fund and resource properly, our frontline services in hospitals and schools. I want to see roads built and a stronger economy, so our kids can get a job locally. I want to keep building a stronger and connected community by making sure our area is safe and remains a great place to live.

Delivering Results

I have worked hard to deliver real results for you and your loved ones. I have secured additional funding to address urgent school maintenance backlogs and improved the safety at a number of local schools with 40km/h flashing lights. I have secured millions of dollars in funding for various sporting and community groups which has delivered countless projects. I have delivered new ambulance stations, major road upgrades, and played an active role in securing critical infrastructure such as the gas pipeline.

Listening to Locals

An important part of my job is making sure that your voice is heard. That’s why I regularly host mobile visits throughout the electorate.

I enjoy getting out and about every day listening to locals, and I value your views on how we can shape the future of the region.

As your local voice I will continue to listen to the issues that matter to you most and work with you in order to get things done.
