A True Local
My wife Deb and I have always called Lockyer home. We are proud of our three hard-working children and have the joy of five grandchildren.
Our history in this community means we really understand the issues and challenges our region faces.
There’s much to be proud of in the Lockyer Valley but we can’t take anything for granted. We have real water security issues, need better roads and have family violence and drug abuse problems to fix – on top of the cost of living pressure local families face.
An Active Community Member
t’s been my experience that working at the local community level keeps you focused on what’s important. Having served as a councillor for over 16 years and as a police officer for nearly 27 years, it’s been my job to enforce our laws. As your Member for Lockyer, now it is my job to help shape them, and make our community safer.
During my 16 years in local government, I’ve delivered better roads, bikeways and footpaths for Lockyer as well as provided real support for our sporting clubs and community groups.
Listening to Locals
It’s clear to me people are frustrated with a do-nothing government which is why I’m proud to stand on my record and be part of the solution to get Queensland moving again.
Team Work Delivers Results
In Lockyer, we need a strong, growing, local economy. That’s the best way to ensure that local families have high quality health care and the schools and TAFE training that our children need to prepare for work. A strong economy lets us build better roads, parks and sporting fields.
I will always fight for your interests and will do everything I can so that together, we can build a better future for Lockyer.
