I am pleased to introduce myself. I’m a country girl born and bred and am the youngest of a family of five. I am a farmer’s daughter who grew up on the family sheep and wool property near Stanthorpe. My primary education was through correspondence, followed with boarding school and University in Toowoomba. Southern Queensland has always been my home and I have lived in Charleville for eight years, and Roma has been home for the last sixteen years.

I have proudly represented the people of the Warrego Electorate since 2015. Living and working in regional Queensland all my life, I am a passionate advocate for our regions and those who live out in the regions. The regions are wealth generators for Queensland, hence why I believe we should receive our fair share, be it access to quality Government services, job opportunities, or simply a properly maintained road.
I’m proud to have delivered some great achievements for the Warrego Electorate including initiating the $70 million redevelopment of the Roma Hospital, upgrades to the Charleville Airport, transitioning resource industry staff out of camps into local towns, 110 km per hour standard roads, road upgrades to enable type two livestock road trains access to the Roma cattle saleyards, air conditioning for teacher housing, upgrades to the Warrego Highway and passing lanes, and restoration of the Warra Historical Subway to name a few.
Recent changes to Queensland’s state electorate boundaries are now complete and I would officially like to welcome you to your new state Electorate of Warrego! The changes mean that the entire Quilpie Shire Council area, as well as the town of Dalby have joined the Electorate. Warrego is a large Electorate, and as I am a keen aviator, I endeavour be accessible to people right across the region, with my time on the ground in local communities. Irrespective of boundaries, my role is to represent the needs of the community in this great part of our State, and fight for our fair share.
