Members of Parliament have been denied the opportunity to have their say on Queensland’s future after Annastacia Palaszczuk’s Labor Government guillotined the Budget debate.
Liberal National Party Leader Deb Frecklington said the Labor Government had arrogantly abused their numbers in Parliament on Friday night.
“Guillotining debate over such an important bill is typical of this Labor Government,” Ms Frecklington said.
“Members of Parliament wanted to talk about how Labor’s Budget of taxes, debt and unemployment would impact their communities, but were denied.
“Annastacia Palaszczuk should have had the decency to let Members of Parliament advocate for the future of their electorates and Queensland.”
