Commuters continue to suffer from Labor’s rail fail

“Labor’s rail fail will take longer to fix because Annastacia Palaszczuk doesn’t do anything without rail union approval.

“External recruitment has been delayed because of the union’s appeal to the Fair Work Commission.

“Only 36 additional drivers have been recruited since the start of last year – well short of the 200 needed.

“Southeast Queenslanders will continue to suffer with 470 fewer weekly train services.

“Queenslanders have clearly lost confidence in Annastacia Palaszczuk’s ability to fix rail.

“Our roads will continue to be congested because Queenslanders have no confidence in our rail network.

“It is becoming increasingly clear that the only way Labor’s rail fail will be fixed is by changing the government in 2020.”
